Happy New Years! 2009 went by really fast for me! Oh the memories of this past year! 2009 was a great year for me. My brother was gone for half of it but I will see him soon! Some of my memories are my brother going away, my sister going to collage, my dog dying, coming out of 4th grade and going into 5th,and trust me, many more! I can't wait to see what memories I have this year in 2010. New Years is always a good time! I get to see my friends, and do a lot of other stuff because we always go to parties! Well I better go! VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I have not written in a while! I have been kind of busy. Anyways, I hope everyone had a Very Merry CHRISTmas! I know I did! I can't wait until my brother is here. He will be here shortly in January! A lot of people know how I feel because they know someone that is a branch of the military. Well anyways, I am on vacation!!!!!!! SO happy! I am a 10 year old girl, of course I am happy. I go back on the 4Th of January, I can wait! I like school but being home makes you realize there is more fun home even when nobody is there because they are working. Actually, my mom is usually home babysitting my best friends baby brother. He is adorable!Anyone could agree with that! Anyways, I should go. Have a nice week !

Santa Christ

Last year my dad gave a sermon about Santa. The reason it was called Santa Christ was because of the song,Santa Clause is coming to town. The song says, you better now pout, you better not cry, he sees you when your sleeping, he knows when you've been bad or good. While actually, it is Christ who knows all those things. If Santa was real, then, he still would not know those things. When saint nick was still alive, he did not even know those things. The one and only who knew those things were Christ the Savior! So when you hear that song, remember Santa Christ! Have a great week.

Yea! It is snowing. I have heard there is supposed to be a snow storm by the end of the week! Oh man am I excited! I really love everything about winter. I love Christmas. I am always excited about Christmas! Some people are not and you wonder why. A lot of times it might be because they won't be with an important person in their family or they don't have a family. There are a lot of other reasons but those are basics. As a tradition in my family, we open presents on Christmas Eve. I have never opened presents on Christmas day. We always get a real Christmas tree. We like them better. Well I better get going for now! Bye!!!!

Justin, my brother!

Yes!!!!!! Finally it is winter and the next holiday is Christmas! I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! I did. The only bad thing was my brother not being here. The time will be here soon. January 1st, hopefully! Anyways, even though I was talking about the Holidays, the rest will be on my brother, and how much he means to me. His name is Justin. He is really the best brother. I call him my army brother. Well, sometimes.He is obviously in the army. He is in Iraq. He does mixed Marshall arts.  He fights his chaplain! A chaplain is a church preacher in the military. Funny huh? I am very glad he is going to church. It at least tells he wants to go to church. He loves to hunt. He likes to fish too. I don't hunt but I fish. Well I better go for now but that tells how much I really love my brother! Bye!

Thanksgiving!
I love thanksgiving! It lands on such a special time of year. Well nice time of year. It is when the Christmas time stuff breaks out of stores. People also get tune in on the Christmas music station. That has already happened at our house. In fact, right now my dad just turned on ''Let It Snow''. The turkey the stuffing, my dads special mashed potato's! Oh man I can't wait. It will be a little sad because my older brother Justin won't be here. He will be in Iraq. He is sooooooooooo special to me! I can't wait to see him in January.Well just remember to tell everyone how important it is to have them in their lives. Also remember to be thankful for what you have because millions of people don't have those things. Have a nice Holiday!

State tests.

Today we wrote the essay in part 2 of the state social studies test. I have no idea what my friend Carolyn is talking about. Well everyone has different opinions.All you had to do was 7 documents and then write the essay. I would have been the first one dome but after about 5-10 minuets I was done with the documents. I wanted to look over it again because you know how teachers are always saying don't rush. I took about 5 more minuets up and then started writing. I was about the 5th one finished. You know how much tests mess up a day. We only had 15-20 minuets for each class. Well I had a pretty good day. I better go for now. Bye!

some fun and some not so fun!

Did anyone figure out the tricky little game I put up on my last post. I know one other person did. It said what was the meaning of the sentence she wrote............. I think. Hahaha. Well anyways I will try to do something fun every once in a while at the end of my blog. Oh and Carolyn if your gonna steal my idea, try to tell me first. haaha. Well today I took a NY state test. Social studies. It was pretty easy today. Tomorrow should be easier. I just have to write a essay. Well I better get going and ready for the test tomorrow. ingredients to make homemade play dough.
2 cups of flour,1 cup of salt,1 package unsweetened powdered soft drink mix,any flavor or color , or several drops of food coloring, 2 cups of water, 1/2 cup of oil.

 I am loosing my faith that it will snow again. Can't wait. I really have nothing new in my life. I made cookies today all by myself. They turned out delicious if I may say. I love to cook and my mom just got some new pampered chef stuff. It works awesomely. But like I said there is nothing new. I can't wait for Christmas. I am going to upload a picture of my brother and sisters. The on that is closest to me is Hannah then Kelsey then Justin. I am the shortest one. I will also put some other pictures up. Being 10 is the year that is great but has some tough times. Well not tough but just things we learn take time. There are just things you get but you wish you knew more about.  Only in school though. The good part is pretty much everything else.  Anyway, I was thinking of what to write and I had a tough time. Finally I thought I should write about fall. I love fall. I also love the decorations and Halloween. This year for Halloween I am going to be a hippy. My friend is going to be a hippy along with me. We are going to wear orange shirts, tie die peace earrings, and either leggings or jeans with a flair at the bottom. We usually don't decorate outside but we do pumpkins. We decorate inside a little bit but just things like table cloths and napkin holders. Anyway, those are the main reasons I love fall. My Life

Hello. Today's post is gonna be about my life. I have 2 sisters, and 1 brother. I am the youngest in my family. I am 10 and in the fith grade. I have one pet, a hamster. I am interested in history and science. I live in NY. I have family in 2 different states. I have 2 grandmas, 4 aunts, 4 uncles and 6 cousins. Some of the things going on in my life are such my new neihgbors. We have not met them yet. They move in at the end of the month. There was a confusing situation of who lived there before but as long as we have lived here it was someone related to someone in my church. My favorite color is a light blue like this. My favorite place in the house is my room. The place where I can just do what I wonna do. I also like the computer room where the computer is, hahaha;. All the friends I have I am very closes with. I have a great teacher. He never leaves anyone out and is always trying to find us a fun way to learn. He always wants to make sure that we all understand something before he goes on which is awesome. He is very nice and understanding and always trying yo find room for new things. I have so much more things about me but I better wrap up and get ready for school!

I am a 10 year old girl. I am a christian in central New York. Tonight is my first time blogging. My mom (jodylynne) started blogging a while ago and I wanted to start also. Anyway, I love seasons! I live in upstate New York. Where my house is located is a beautiful spot. My neighbors house and mine are pretty far apart from each other. There is a line of trees in between us. The trees are big and beautiful in the fall. I love the colors. As you can notice I am using fall colors for my writing. You may be surprised but I am excited for winter. Yes part of the reason is because of snow days but also because of the feeling it gives me. The feeling is warm and cozy even though the weather outside is cold. I may or may not be ready for spring when it comes but I don't know now but I do know now I am ready for winter. I also know I love blogging and yes, my name is Lauren.
